Diagram 551.2 Wild Fowl signs are very common throughout the UK. Anywhere near habitual areas of ducks, geese and other wild fowl tend to have the 551.2 signs to keep road users aware of the potential wild birds on the road.

As per the UK Highways Traffic Sign Manual Chapter 4 - Warning Signs page: 54 The following advice is given:
