Stykra EXT Primer - 250ml

Stykra Tape Primer is an alternative product to the 3M Primer 94. Stykra EXT primer can be used to promote adhesion of structural bonding tapes to surfaces including polyethylene, polypropylene, ABS, PET/PBT blends, concrete, wood, glass, metal, and painted metal surfaces.

Stykra EXT Primer will drastically improve the initial grab and over bond strength when applying structural bonding tape to various materials. We highly recommend using the Stykra EXT Primer when fixing sign channel to the reverse of sign blanks. 

The Stykra EXT formulation is now free from:

✅ Cyclohexane

✅Xylene

✅Ethyl benzene

✅Ethanol

Surface Preparation: The bonding surface must be relatively clean and dry. Contaminated surfaces should be cleaned and degreased with Isopropyl Alcohol or a suitable panel wipe. A clean lint-free cloth should be used.

Application: Shake the Stykra EXT Primer well before using. Apply a thin, sparing amount of the primer to both parts of your materials using a foam printer swab. Allow the primer to dry thoroughly before applying tape (5 mins at room temperature). Be sure the primed surfaces remain clean before applying the tape.
