Well now Avery Dennison may have found a modern solution to those old swatchbooks that tend to go walk-a-bout. The new Avery Dennison Swatch app has been launched on both Android and iTunes, allowing the majority of smartphone and tablet users the ability to take every Avery Dennison swatch around with them at all times.

Of course nothing will ever compare to having the real McCoy in your hand, however, on testing the app on different screen types we have found that it is accurate enough to use when referencing to clients and existing coloured objects.

The App includes swatches for all the major Avery vinyl ranges which include:

• Avery 500 Monomeric
• Avery 700 Polymeric
• Avery 777 Cast
• Avery 800 Premium Cast
• Avery 900 Super Cast
• Avery 4500 Translucent
• Avery 550 QM Translucent
• Avery Supreme Wrapping films (including chrome and extreme texture)
